1. Braille - a form of written language for blind people, in which characters are represented by patterns of raised dots that are felt with the finger tips.
2. lonely - sad because one has no friends or company.
3. meals - any of the regular occassions in a day when a large amout of food is eaten. Eg- lunch, dinner etc.
4. across - from one side to the other of a pace, area etc.
