    Ans. We should share our toys, food and books with needy children.  We can help them with studies.  Talking and playing games with them will not make them feel lonely.  We can bring a smile on their face by being nice and kind.

    Ans.  Differently-abled people are those who are not be able to see, hear or speak.  Some have trouble in walking, while others have trouble in learning. 

    b)  Why do old people often feel lonely? 

    Ans.  Old people often feel lonely because their other family members are busy with work or school. 


    c) How can we help elderly people?

    Ans.  We can help elderly people by spending time with them.  Making them feel that we love and care for them and are happy to have them in our lives. 

    d)  What is a good deed? 

    Ans.  Helping others without expecting a reward in return is a good deed. 

    5.  Give reasons.

    a)  Needy children do household chores for other people. 

    Ans.  In the needy families what the elders earn is not enough to fulfil the needs of their families.  Therefore, children in such families work and support the elders. 

    b)  Differently-abled people face difficulties and often need help.

    Ans.  Differently-abled people are thosse who are not be able to see, hear or speak.  Some have trouble in walking, while others have trouble in learning.  Hence they often need help.

    6.  Write a short note on problems faced by elderly people.  How can we help them?

    Ans.  Elderly people cannot walk properly, see or hear well due to age.  It becomes difficult fir them to remember things and sometimes they forget to take medicines or eat their meals.  There are old people who often feel lonely because their other family members are busy with work or school.  We can help elderly people by spending time with them.  Making them feel that we love and care for them and are happy to have them in our lives. 

    7.  Being compassionate is a good thing.  How can we become compassionate and encourage others for the same? 

    Ans.  We can put the following points into daily practise, all the others will be encouraged to do the same.

    1. Not to trouble animals or birds by throwing stones at them.

    2.  Take an injured or sick animal to the vet.

    3.  Keep water feeder for birds during summer season.

    4.  Take care of others and be kind.

    5.  Help others without expecting a reward.
