   GLOBE

A globe is a mini replica or model of the earth. It gives us an idea of how planet earth looks like. It shows us how the mountains, oceans, countries and continents are placed on the surface of the earth. Earlier, globes were made from wood, glass and marble. These days,
globes are made from light weight material like plastic.
